The past few days I've been out walking with Tina and we've seen the fields of heather transformed by spider webs. All those grey-white splotches in this photo are spider webs. Anywhere there's a field of heather, these spiders have canvassed the whole area. These fields are only about 100 meters or less from the edge of the sea. I'm betting these spiders are feasting on sand fleas.
